A set of protective device system composed of three comprehensive protective devices of the belt conveyor forms three major protections of the belt conveyor: speed protection of the belt conveyor, temperature protection of the belt conveyor Stop protection at any point midway of belt conveyor.
1. Belt conveyor temperature protection.
When the temperature of the pulley of the belt conveyor exceeds the limit due to the friction between the pulley and the belt, the detection device (transmitter) installed close to the pulley will send out the overtemperature signal. After receiving the signal, the receiver will perform some actions after a 3s delay, cut off the power supply of the motor, and the conveyor will stop automatically to protect the temperature.
2. Belt conveyor speed protection.
If the belt conveyor fails, such as motor burning, mechanical transmission part damage, belt or chain breaking, belt slipping, etc., the magnetic switch in the accident sensor SG installed on the driven part of the belt conveyor cannot be closed or cannot be closed at normal speed, then the control system will operate according to the inverse time characteristics and after a certain delay, the speed protection circuit will work to make the executive part act and cut off the power supply of the motor, So as to avoid the expansion of the accident.
3. Stop protection at any point midway of belt conveyor.
If it is necessary to stop at any point along the belt conveyor, the switch at the corresponding position shall be turned to the intermediate stop position, and the belt conveyor will stop immediately. If it needs to be reopened, reset the switch first, and then press the signal switch to send a signal.
